Dormitory II was built shortly after Dormitory I and, after a complete renovation in 2016, offers rooms for 55 students.
The dormitories I and II are centrally located in Clausthal: A stone's throw away are the student bars “Kellerclub” and “Anno Tobak” as well as the main shopping street Adolph-Roemer-Straße (“Roe”) with all major shops and the main building of the TU.

The operating costs included in the warm rent are currently subsidised by €50. The state of Lower Saxony has made the funds available to the Studierendenwerk at the end of 2022, see here.
