Wir öffnen die Speisesäle!

20.10.2021
Ab 25.10. gilt die 2G-Regelung in der Mensa 1 und 9bar in Braunschweig, der Uni-Mensa Hildesheim und der Mensa Lüneburg.

We are opening the dining halls! From 25 October, the "2G" rule(access for vaccinated or recovered guests only) will apply in Mensa 1 in Braunschweig, the Uni-Mensa Hildesheim and the Mensa Lüneburg.

This means: You can eat together with your friends at the table again! Keeping distance masks are no longer required.

Under the "2G" rule, only vaccinated or recovered guests have access to the refectory. To prove your "2G" status, you must first register on our check-in app. To do so, visit checkin.stw-on.de. There, you scan the QR code of your EU-vaccination or recovery certificate and then enter your contact details. Registration starts on October 20. You only have to do this once. Important: Please register at home and not at the cafeteria! (instructions)

Before each visit to the dining hall, scan the QR code displayed there to check in. Show the confirmation at the entrance. That's it!

For guests who do not comply with "2G", there is an alternative meal offer at all locations: In Braunschweig, these are Mensa 2, the Kantina Kreativa at the HBK and the food truck at the NFF. In Lüneburg there are food trucks and in Hildesheim the Bistro Lübecker Straße is open and there is also a food truck around.

For the time being, the "2G" regulation only applies in these three dining halls. But things are also happening at the other locations: In Holzminden, Salzgitter and Wolfenbüttel, food counters are opening again after one and a half years. They are offering meals to go, but we are very happy that things are starting up there again! Check our news from time to time for the current status and follow us on Instagram, where we'll keep you up to date. Because we do of course hope for further opening steps. We are monitoring demand and are in close contact with the universities.

So, come on by! See you in the Mensa!
